Regent Surgical Announces Greg Miller as Chief Human Resources Officer

Executive Team Growth Reflects Ongoing Commitment to Attracting, Developing and Retaining Top Talent

FRANKLIN, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Regent Surgical, a national leader in ASC partnerships with preeminent health systems and physician practices, has announced Greg Miller as its Chief Human Resources Officer.

Miller’s 35 years of experience span all aspects of human resources, from talent acquisition to organizational effectiveness. Prior to joining Regent, he served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at AccentCare and held leadership positions at United Surgery Partners International, Aflac and Humana. Miller was also a communications professor at San Diego State University and a past partner of the Leadership Research Institute.

“Our partners and patients will benefit from Greg’s understanding that success in healthcare, whether clinical or operational, is achieved through people,” said Travis Messina, Regent Surgical CEO. “We are intentional about building strong, supported teams because we know that when healthcare professionals are empowered and have the resources they need, they deliver high-quality care and excellent patient experiences. Greg’s vision for a people-centered strategy aligns perfectly with our values and I’m looking forward to seeing how he makes our teams and partners even stronger.”

For Miller, Regent Surgical’s focus on culture has bridged the connection between people, clinical and financial success.

“I was attracted to Regent’s approach of powering operational strategies through people strategies,” said Miller. “We’re customizing solutions for health systems by working together with our partners to create tailored environments for successful ASC strategies. And it’s the same on the people side. We’re creating a culture that wins by infusing it across the organization. Leaders here don’t talk about our people strategy as separative from operations or finance. It’s been inspiring to see such alignment around the value our people add to our success.”

Miller holds a Ph.D. from The University of Southern California, an M.A. degree from San Diego State University and a B.A. degree from the University of Oregon.
