Venerable Welcomes New Vice President

WEST CHESTER, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Venerable Holdings, Inc. (“Venerable”) is celebrating the addition of Tina Yang as Vice President, Financial Strategy and Analysis, leading activities related to financial and strategic analysis of business data, business projects, acquisitions and transactions, and the compilation of this information for business reviews and strategic plans. She will report to Greg Smith, Senior Vice President and Controller.

Yang previously served as Chief Operating Officer at Legal & General Reinsurance, leading the overall company operations overseeing claim administration, innovation, technology development, IT operations, operational risk and controls, and supplier management. She led a diverse range of special projects to enable company growth, covering risk management, new business, investment, and finance areas and engaged in a venture with Legal & General Asia. There, she directly supported the regional President on strategy and team vision, while collaborating with teams on prospecting projects and contributing to joint-venture initiatives. Yang also has extensive actuarial experience, particularly in the variable annuity space, with Milliman Financial Risk Management.

Yang is a graduate of the University of Waterloo with degrees in Mathematics, Actuarial Science/Finance, and Computer Science. She holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Oxford and is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, a Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst, and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
