Military Families’ Feedback Key to Improving On-Base Housing

Residents encouraged to share comments, engage in open dialogue

WARWICK, R.I.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Corvias encourages military housing residents to provide feedback often and in various ways. One primary method is through the Army Housing Tenant Satisfaction Survey. Following a robust survey promotion period, both by Corvias and their Army partners, this year’s survey response rate was nearly 40% higher than last year.

By reaching residents through preferred communication channels like email, texts, phone calls, everyday interactions, and community events, the team was able to capture valuable feedback relating to topics like customer service, quality of housing and community aesthetics. Additionally, a light-hearted animal-themed email campaign kept attention to the importance of hearing from residents.

“We want to validate and understand resident feedback more deeply,” said Denise Hauck, senior vice president of property operations for Corvias Property Management. “It’s critical that we hear from our residents and we learn from their input. We hope residents will continue to take the survey so that we can use the feedback provided to continuously make improvements and updates to ensure resident satisfaction across our military housing portfolio.”

All installations worked diligently to meet the Army’s minimum response goal. Of note, Aberdeen Proving Grounds and Randolph Pointe at Fort Liberty achieved 54.3% and 44.1% response rates, respectively. Several additional installations increased their response rates by 60% or more this year.

Additional Sources of Feedback

Beyond the Army Housing Tenant Satisfaction Survey, Corvias seeks resident feedback in multiple ways including the SatisFacts Survey and interactions with property management team members. Opportunities for 1:1 conversation include resident events and Army leadership town halls.

The SatisFacts survey gauges resident satisfaction. This year, Corvias received national honors from SatisFacts for its military property management services.

Through a continuous loop of resident communication and customer service, Corvias is committed to providing its residents with the best possible living experience.
