Baird Selects Confluence’s PARis Solution for Enhanced Portfolio Analytics and Reporting Capabilities

The solution will equip institutional consultants with in-depth analysis and peer benchmarking enabling key insights for better investment decision-making

PITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Confluence Technologies, Inc. (“Confluence”), a global technology solutions provider for regulatory, analytics, and investor communications solutions for the investment management industry today announced that PARis, its industry-renowned portfolio analytics solution, was selected by the Institutional Consulting Services Group of Baird, the employee-owned, international wealth management, asset management, investment banking/capital markets and private equity firm. PARis will enable Baird to better service its institutional clients with data aggregation efficiencies, robust analytics, and flexible reporting capabilities to support different institutional client types on a single platform.

With PARis, data collection is automated from custodians, record keepers, and relevant market reference data providers. Baird can perform returns- and holdings-based analyses, performance and holdings-based attribution analyses, peer comparison, and benchmarking at the total portfolio, asset class, and manager levels across all investment types. Baird can improve its tailored reporting to meet its clients’ unique investment policy and liquidity requirements. With over 200 report templates with built-in analytics, the plan results can be easily communicated with standard and customizable reports on a historical or rolling-period basis.

“Confluence’s PARis is a pivotal solution that will allow us to better service new and existing institutional clients,” says Michael Swope, Director, Institutional Consulting Services Group at Baird. “With enhanced performance and holdings-based capabilities, we’ll be able to exceed our sophisticated clients’ increasing needs. The efficient access to data, analytics, peer benchmarking, and flexible reporting will allow us to scale effectively and retain our clients.”

“We’re thrilled that Baird has selected our industry-leading PARis solution, giving it the most robust and comprehensive portfolio analytics capabilities to service its institutional clients,” said Damian Handzy, Managing Director, Confluence Analytics. “With automated data aggregation, advanced analytics, and flexible reporting that support all different plan types on a single integrated platform, clients like Baird will obtain a new level of efficiency and investment insights, enabling them to deliver greater fiduciary value to their own clients.”

The PARis solution also services other users like asset owners. Last year, Confluence introduced a new liability reporting function to its PARis solution that enables a more comprehensive and balanced view of pension plans while significantly improving institutional plan analysis and reducing manual work and errors.
