The Standard Promotes Kerry Waterman to Assistant Vice President, Retirement Plans Operations

PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Standard Insurance Company (The Standard) announced today that Kerry Waterman has been promoted to assistant vice president, Retirement Plans Operations.

Waterman joined The Standard in 2004 and has held several leadership positions in Retirement Plans across both operations and finance, as well as a leadership role in Employee Benefits. In her new role, Waterman will lead all retirement plans operations across The Standard’s plan sponsor, participant, trade and investment and compliance operations teams.

“Kerry is highly regarded across The Standard for her deep expertise, continuous improvement mindset and strong network of relationships,” said Maria Gonzalez, vice president, Retirement Plan Services at The Standard. “Her leadership in this role will support our teams and ultimately our partners and customers.”

Waterman earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business at Portland State University and a Master of Business Administration degree at George Fox University. She serves on the board of the Clark County Family YMCA.
