OLDWICK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AM Best has assigned a Long-Term Issue Credit Rating of “a-” (Excellent) to the $500 million, 5.05% senior unsecured notes, due 2029, of The Allstate Corporation (Allcorp) (Northbrook, IL) [NYSE: ALL]. The outlook assigned to this Credit Rating (rating) is stable. The existing ratings of Allcorp and its insurance subsidiaries remain unchanged.
