Wind River Professional Services Achieves CMMI Level 3 Appraisal for Its Software Development Processes

ALAMEDA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Wind River®, a global leader in delivering software for the intelligent edge, today announced that its Professional Services organization has once again been appraised at Level 3 of ISACA’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI®). CMMI is a proven, outcome-based performance model and the globally accepted standard for improving capability, optimizing business performance, and aligning operations to business goals.

This CMMI appraisal is the highest form of third-party validation for a company’s work and is greatly valued in the mission-critical industries Wind River serves, where design, development, and certification processes are of paramount importance.

The appraisal, which builds on past Wind River CMMI Level 3 achievements, was focused on the company’s software development and associated quality and project management processes. It reflects the proactive Wind River approach to managing projects and processes that guide and drive the development of quality, industry-leading solutions and services. The appraisal was performed by John F. Ryskowski Consulting.
