AM Best Revises Data in Recent Best’s Market Segment Report on Delegated Underwriting Authority Enterprises Market

OLDWICK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AM Best has amended information in its recent report pertaining to premium growth in the U.S. delegated underwriting authority enterprise (DUAE) segment in 2023. This data was cited in a Best’s Market Segment Report, titled, “Rapidly Increasing MGA Premiums Warrant Greater Oversight.”

AM Best is revising its total of U.S. direct premiums written (DPW) generated by MGAs in 2023 to $77.0 billion, representing an 8.6% increase over the previous year. This revision from the originally reported $81.4 billion was due to updates to company statements.
