Bryn Mawr Capital Management Announces Jasmine Yu as Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer

WILMINGTON, Del.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--WSFS Financial Corporation (Nasdaq: WSFS), the parent company of Bryn Mawr Capital Management, is pleased to announce the hire of Jasmine Yu as Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer, reporting to Jamie Hopkins, Senior Vice President, CEO of Bryn Mawr Capital Management and Director of Private Wealth Management for Bryn Mawr Trust.

Yu will lead the Investment Strategy and Solutions team towards delivering exceptional outcomes for clients, driving innovation, and providing cutting-edge thought leadership in the investment landscape.

Yu is a seasoned expert in investment management with over two decades of experience. Working in leadership roles at Bank of New York Mellon, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Global Wealth and Retirement Services, and Abu Dhabi Investment Council, she has demonstrated expertise in asset allocation, portfolio risk management, and investment strategies across multiple asset classes.

Prior to joining WSFS, Yu was Managing Director, Head of Global Manager Research at Bank of New York Mellon Wealth & Investment Management. There, she led a team responsible for sourcing, evaluating, selecting, and monitoring investments across multiple asset classes. Throughout her career, Yu developed and implemented investment strategies, managed multi-asset portfolios and conducted and published research.

Jasmine mentors for the 30% Club Mission Gender Equity Program. She served as an Advisory Board member for Institutional Investor, Sub Advisory Institute. Alongside her extensive career in New York City, she possesses a wealth of experience gained during her tenure in prominent global centers like London and Abu Dhabi.

Yu earned a PhD in Finance from EDHEC Business School, a Master of International Affairs in International Finance and Business from Columbia University, a Master of Business Administration in Financial Management and Information Systems from Pace University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Zhongshan University.
