CyberSheath Brings Back Free CMMC 2.0 Training Course for DIB Contractors

RESTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Many small businesses still have questions about Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) compliance. What better way to answer them than through a free, multi-part training initiative created by the most experienced managed compliance provider in the Defense Industrial Base?

For a fourth straight year, CyberSheath is offering a six-course training program to help contractors better understand and prepare for CMMC compliance. Those who complete the “ninja training” will earn a black belt and be honored in a ceremony at CMMC CON 2024 on Sept. 25, 2024.

The curriculum offers resources and tools and explains the policies behind CMMC 2.0. Each session ends with an exam and the opportunity to win a belt for that topic.

“Each year we hear from contractors who find so much value in CMMC CON, and this training program extends the education process beyond just the day of the conference,” said Eric Noonan, CEO of CyberSheath. “With the final rule expected as early as later this year, it’s never been more imperative for contractors to thoroughly understand their compliance responsibilities. We hope to add many more names to our list this year and do our part to improve the DIB’s security posture.”

At the end of the program, contractors will be able to fill any gaps that may exist in their compliance posture. Free training modules for defense contractors include:
