Pryor Cashman Welcomes Jasmine Juteau to Its White Collar and Regulatory Practices

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Pryor Cashman is pleased to announce that Jasmine Juteau has joined the firm as a partner in the White Collar Defense + Investigations and Regulatory Enforcement + Securities Litigation Practices. Jasmine comes to Pryor Cashman from Morvillo Abramowitz Grand Iason & Anello, where she was counsel.

Jasmine’s practice focuses on regulatory enforcement and criminal defense, complex civil litigation, and corporate compliance matters. She is an experienced white collar defense attorney who has represented individuals and corporate clients facing allegations of fraud, insider trading, collusion and market manipulation, embezzlement, internal controls and disclosure violations, and rogue trading in investigations and actions brought by the Department of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Commodities Futures Trading Commission, the N.Y. District Attorney’s Office, the N.Y. Attorney General’s Office, and FINRA.

Jasmine has substantial federal and state jury trial experience, most notably as defense counsel in a multi-month criminal trial of former leaders of Dewey & LeBoeuf for alleged accounting fraud, which concluded with numerous acquittals and no convictions. She also represents clients in high-stakes civil litigation, including securities class actions, business torts, and commercial disputes.

Jasmine is based in the firm’s New York office.

“Jasmine comes to our firm with an impressive background and impeccable standing among her peers,” said Ronald Shechtman, Managing Partner of Pryor Cashman. “The clients who come to our white collar practice know about our extraordinary track record, and Jasmine is well-positioned to help maintain and expand that reputation.”

“I’m excited to welcome Jasmine to the practice and get to work with her,” said Partner Sidhardha “Sid” Kamaraju, who is chair of the Regulatory Enforcement + Securities Litigation Practice and a member of the White Collar Defense + Investigations Practice. “Our colleagues will undoubtably benefit from having her here as much as our clients will.”

“I’m joining the white collar practice at Pryor Cashman at a particularly dynamic time, and I look forward to being part of such a strong team,” said Jasmine. “I can’t wait to start supporting the clients who already know the firm’s excellent work and to bring my experience to bear to broaden the client base.”
