Paired Power One of Eight Companies to Receive Award from Governor Gavin Newsom’s Office of Business and Economic Development to Expand Operations in California

CAMPBELL, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Paired Power, a solar and microgrid electric vehicle (EV) charging company, announces that it's one of eight California-based companies to receive the Governor's Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz) committee’s tax credit award to expand its business in the state.

Paired Power’s EV charging products are U.S.-made and designed and built in Campbell, California. With its $3.5 million tax credit award from GO-Biz, the company will expand its operations and support new jobs in both Campbell and the Central Valley – and ultimately help ensure that the state can meet its petroleum reduction target of 50 percent by 2030. According to the EPA’s emission rates calculator, by switching from a standard grid-connected EV charger to a Paired Power solar charger, each EV owner can prevent more than 4,000 pounds of CO2 from being emitted into the air annually.
