SHARx Hires Andrew D. Crawford as President

Prescription Industry Veteran Enhances Management Ranks

ST. LOUIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SHARx, one of the nation’s fastest-growing patient advocacy corporations, announced the hiring of Andrew D. Crawford as President. Crawford previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of RxLogic, where he led the company through its start-up phases and into high-growth mode. At SHARx he will report to CEO Corey Durbin and oversee the commercial operations of the firm as it continues on its high-growth trajectory.

“As SHARx has grown from the seed of an idea into one of the nation’s leading patient advocacy companies, the need for a President with Drew’s experience has become clear,” said CEO Corey Durbin. “His long history of managing the growth of pharmaceutical services companies in various stages of their development will serve us well as we transition into the next phase of our rapid growth.”

Prior to his work at RxLogic, Crawford led business development at Maxor National Pharmacy Services with special focus on the 340B space, was the CEO of pharmacy benefit administrator Benecard PDF and spent considerable time at CVS Caremark, where he was responsible for all underwriting, analytics and outcomes operations of the company’s PBM, specialty and disease management businesses.

“Drew’s experience across many different companies and aspects of the complex pharmaceutical industry will allow him to help SHARx better serve our clients and members,” added Durbin. “Creating alternate access to high-cost and specialty medications is an increasingly important part of the American healthcare system and Drew knows this as well as anyone.”

Crawford said of his appointment to SHARx, “SHARx provides critical access to high-cost and specialty medications that is sorely lacking in the healthcare industry today. I look forward to helping Corey and the team ensure that everyone has access to these life-saving and life-altering medications at a reasonable cost.”
