KBRA Release Recap of LSTA and DealCatalyst Annual CLO Conference

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--KBRA releases a recap of the annual CLO Conference hosted by the Loan Syndications & Trading Association (LSTA) and DealCatalyst, which took place at the Marriot Marquis Hotel in New York on April 29-30. With over 1,600 attendees, the energetic atmosphere mirrored the “frenetic” pace of collateralized loan obligation (CLO) market activity so far in 2024, which has seen nearly $60 billion in new issuance year-to-date (YTD). Despite headwinds from sticky inflation, higher for longer interest rates, and rising defaults, the CLO machine continues to hum along, with opportunities up and down the capital structure.

In this recap, we provide themes and highlights from select panel sessions, which focused on broadly syndicated loans (BSL), middle market (MM) CLOs, leveraged loans, direct lending, and private credit.
