With New Hire, FeganScott Expands Footprint to Include Nation’s Capital

Michael von Klemperer opens the firm’s Washington D.C. office

CHICAGO & WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--FeganScott is pleased to announce that Michael von Klemperer has joined the firm and will serve its class action and complex litigation practice from its newly opened Washington, D.C. office.

von Klemperer has over a decade of legal experience prosecuting high-profile and complex cases against major corporations across a range of industries. Most recently, he played a leading role in cases seeking to hold the pharmaceutical industry accountable for its central role in the opioid crisis, representing states and other government entities against opioid manufacturers, distributors, and retail pharmacies, and resulting in the recovery of over $1 billion for his clients. In addition, he has a wide range of experience in diverse practices areas including complex healthcare fraud, consumer protection, whistleblower qui tam cases, employment discrimination, antitrust, and patent infringement cases.

von Klemperer earned his Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University Law School and then clerked at the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Since then, he has devoted his career to representing victims of corporate wrongdoing and fraud, first with a D.C. boutique and then with a major national plaintiffs’ firm.
