And yet, we all know the world and the workforce are dynamic and continuously changing. Motus is primed and ready to support customers’ evolving needs today and well into the future, I’m delighted to be part of a team that is so tenacious, collaborative, and focused on delivering results.”

Refreshed product lines

Motus is excited to introduce two refreshed product lines. The first, Motus Mobilize, offers cutting-edge MMS (Managed Mobility Services) and BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) solutions. "With Motus Mobilize, businesses can effortlessly construct a scalable device strategy tailored to their specific needs," said Mitch Black, General Manager of Motus Mobilize. This innovative solution empowers organizations to navigate the complexities of mobility management with ease, ensuring optimal efficiency and productivity.

The second product line, Motus Localize, provides precise living-cost calculations and comprehensive reports for accurate relocation packages. These reports can be used for budgeting purposes or to determine allowances for home finding, temporary living, final moves, and other related expenses.

Motus platform enhancements

Over the past year, Motus has introduced significant enhancements to its vehicle reimbursement platform, offering increased visibility and control. Among these updates are the introduction of weekly and biweekly cents-per-mile (CPM) reimbursement programs, further expanding the range of solutions available to businesses aiming to optimize total vehicle reimbursement spend across the enterprise. Additionally, Motus launched Motus Perks, providing personalized and relevant discounts to support drivers both on the road and at home. Moreover, the company introduced Motus Insights, a reporting module designed to offer vehicle reimbursement program administrators fast and highly flexible tools to manage and optimize their programs.

As electric vehicles increase in popularity and production, Motus uses calculations from the EPA’s Miles per gallon-equivalent (MPGe) which is a way to measure an electric vehicle’s energy consumption so that customers can provide fair and accurate reimbursements for their drivers who use electric vehicles.

IRS business mileage rate

Motus continues to advise the IRS on the costs of driving, leveraging insights captured from the world’s largest retained pool of drivers. By analyzing automotive trends from the preceding year, the IRS determines the annual business milage standard rate – an essential benchmark for deducting business vehicle expenses. The cost data and analysis provided by Motus have been the cornerstone of the IRS business mileage standard for over four decades now.

Industry award wins

Motus’ FAVR (fixed and variable rate reimbursement) product was named as the winner in the automotive category of the BIG Innovation awards, which recognizes the people, organizations, and ideas changing how we experience the world. And the company has been shortlisted for The Cloud Awards in the best software as a service category and best cloud payment finance or billing solution category. The Cloud Awards honor the best and most innovative cloud computing organizations in the industry.

Additionally, Motus continues to make an impact on the industry by being named the winner of the ‘Overall Mobility Management Solution Provider of the Year’ award in the 7th annual Mobile Breakthrough Awards, a leading independent market intelligence organization that recognizes the top companies, technologies and products in the global wireless and mobile market today. Motus has also been named the winner of the ‘Best SaaS for Business Management’ in the international SaaS Awards program, which focuses on recognizing excellence and innovation in software solutions.

"As I start on my second year at Motus, I'm incredibly proud to be part of such an impressive team, a team that will only be further strengthened by the addition of Vanessa as our CRO," said Phong Nguyen, CEO of Motus.
