Distinguished Programs Unveils New Executive Lines Team Members

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Distinguished Programs (“Distinguished”), a leading national insurance program manager, is pleased to introduce the team of its new Executive Lines business. The team aims to set a new standard in management liability insurance with a comprehensive and energetic approach, dedicated to delivering unparalleled service. Coverage is available exclusively to wholesale brokers.

Distinguished's team comprises industry veterans with an unrivaled wealth of knowledge and an extensive network. Leading the team is Ryan Becker, a seasoned veteran with over 28 years of experience operating exclusively in financial lines and management liability businesses. Becker's career includes spearheading numerous ventures, including Ascot's and Aspen’s startup operations, showcasing his personal commitment to the wholesale channel.

"Our Executive Lines team stands at the forefront of expertise in management liability insurance," says Ryan Becker, President of Distinguished’s Executive Lines business. "We understand the complexities of this space like no other, and we're proud to bring our extensive knowledge to the table. We're not just insurance providers; we're strategic partners, leveraging our expertise and close relationships with wholesale brokers to deliver exceptional service and protection to their agents and clients.”

Joining Becker is Crystal Greene, bringing over 28 years of underwriting expertise, specializing in commercial and financial institution management liability. Renowned for her expertise in form development and operational efficiency, Greene has consistently built profitable underwriting units, earning her a stellar reputation in the industry.

Carol Smith, with 21 years’ experience in management liability underwriting, brings a unique focus on the wholesale broker market. Her leadership in establishing startup operations at Ascot underscores her strategic prowess and dedication to client success.

Devon Lay, with over 19 years’ experience in management liability underwriting, specializes in underwriting private and non-profit risks. Lay's extensive experience and nationwide wholesale relationships position Distinguished Executive Lines for success across the West Coast and beyond.

Completing the team is Maggie Holland, leveraging over 13 years of operational insurance experience to optimize underwriting team performance and ensure operational efficiency within Distinguished Executive Lines.

Today, Distinguished offers a true follow-form excess product covering Directors and Officers, Employment Practices, and Fiduciary Liability for public, private, and non-profit risks. A competitive primary, modular, private and non-profit product offering the same coverages will be released soon. The team’s strategy is to avoid broad-brush underwriting, and instead offer risk-specific underwriting and tailored solutions to each individual risk’s unique exposures.

Coverage is underwritten by Covington Specialty Insurance Company, a subsidiary of RSUI Group, Inc., exclusively serving the wholesale brokerage community. Covington Specialty not only offers financial stability but also embodies a culture deeply attuned to the nuances of the wholesale channel. With Covington Specialty's prestigious A++ XIV AM Best rating, clients can trust in their carrier providing the utmost financial security.
