Beazer Homes and Partners Donate $1.9 Million to Fisher House Foundation

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Beazer Homes, alongside their partners, proudly announced the donation of $1.9 million to Fisher House Foundation this week. This substantial gift, presented to David Coker, President of Fisher House Foundation, during a special event in Las Vegas, marks a profound commitment to supporting military and veteran families in times of need.

The donation represents the culmination of extensive fundraising efforts by Beazer Homes employees, bolstered by the generous contributions from partners who directly donated to Fisher House. Notably, all gifts received were magnified by the Beazer Charity Foundation, which provided a 150 percent match for all donations.

Speaking on behalf of Beazer Homes, President and CEO Allan Merrill underscored the company's deep-rooted partnership with Fisher House Foundation, highlighting its significance as the company’s national charity partner.

Fisher House Foundation builds comfort homes where military and veteran families can stay at no cost while a loved one is in the hospital. These homes are located at military and VA medical centers around the world.

Merrill further expressed gratitude to the teams and individuals whose extraordinary efforts resulted in the Beazer Charity Foundation's largest matching gift to date, a 77 percent increase in support from 2023 and totaling nearly $5 million for the nonprofit since 2017.
