Laura A. True Named Divisional Vice President at Great American Insurance Group

CINCINNATI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Great American Insurance Group is pleased to announce that Laura A. True has joined its Cyber Risk Division as Divisional Vice President.

Ms. True joins the company from a cyber insurance provider, where she served as Senior Underwriter of its growing cyber risk and technology errors and omissions (E&O) insurance business. She has more than 20 years of experience in middle market underwriting, having previously served in various roles with two global insurance companies. Ms. True is based in Hartford, Connecticut, and will lead a specialty underwriting team focusing on cyber risk and technology errors and omissions insurance for small- and medium- sized companies.

“Laura’s expertise is a strong complement to Risk e-Business 2.0, our next generation cyber risk insurance product, which was released in late 2023,” said Betty Shepherd, Divisional President of Cyber Risk. “Her knowledge of the tech E&O market and strong relationships in the wholesale distribution channel will increase our presence in this space considerably.”

About Cyber Risk

For more than a decade, Great American has delivered customized cyber risk products and programs via numerous divisions and built a reputation for providing flexible offerings in combination with other products or on a stand-alone basis. In 2018, the Cyber Risk Division was formally organized by consolidating those various products and programs into one specialty business unit. Our products are designed for small- and medium-sized businesses and are easy to explain and understand.
