Valesco Industries Successfully Exits Drug Free Sport International, a Valesco Fund II Investment

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Valesco Industries is pleased to announce it has completed the sale of its interests in Drug Free Sport International (“DFSI”) to CPC. Valesco made a control investment in DFSI in January 2017, and subsequently merged with IDTM, based in Stockholm, Sweden, in September 2018. Located in Kansas City, MO, DFSI is an international third-party administrator of unbiased and customized drug prevention/education and drug-testing programs for professional, collegiate, and amateur sports organizations, as well as a third-party service provider for clinical and mobile health services.

During the time of our investment, the company accomplished major initiatives in the areas of people, processes and systems integrations while growing sales and EBITDA to company record levels. All the credit for these accomplishments goes to the stellar management team at DFSI who worked with Valesco to manage through merging with an international counterpart, a worldwide pandemic and diversification of its service offerings.
