APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

New Century AIM VCT2 Plc (the “Company”) announces that John Beaumont has been appointed, by the Board, on 29 January 2024 to be a Non-Executive director of the Company.

About John Beaumont:

John has extensive leadership experience in executive and non-executive roles in the financial services sector and in particular with firms providing corporate broking and investment management services.

After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, John started his broking career in 1988 and has since then worked for a number of brokers (both large and small). After many years as a research analyst, he has for the last 12 years been providing accounting services for some of these broking firms and in particular, has been either a Director or employee of Oberon since 2018 and also, on behalf of Oberon, has provided accounting services to the Company since 2019.

Mr Beaumont is a member of the Company having a beneficial holding of 23,501 ordinary shares of 10p.
