Kroll’s Agency and Trustee Services Practice Expands in the U.S. and Welcomes Two New Senior Leaders in New York and London

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kroll, the leading independent provider of global risk and financial advisory solutions, announced today the expansion of its Agency and Trustee Services practice following the appointment of Martin Reed, who joins as a Managing Director to lead the U.S. expansion in New York, and Jamie Riley, who joins as a Managing Director in Business Development, based in London.

Reed comes to Kroll with over 25 years of experience in the capital markets sector, including considerable expertise in the syndicated loan, direct lending and restructuring markets. He has worked with many of the largest institutional banks and most recently headed the U.S. offices of two leading, global capital markets companies.

Riley brings over 25 years of experience providing agency and trustee services across all debt capital markets products. He joins Kroll from a global capital markets services provider, where he led the EMEA Capital Markets sales team.

This expansion comes on the heels of Alan Booth joining the team in September 2023 as Head of Kroll’s Agency and Trustee Services practice.

“We are thrilled to have both Martin and Jamie join our team to help accelerate the growth of our business,” Booth stated. “The expansion of our agency services in the U.S. is the first step in a natural evolution for our business and aligns with our clients’ need for a multijurisdictional agent who can accommodate their transactions both in Europe and now the U.S.”

Booth continued: “Kroll Agency and Trustee Services has experienced strong and sustained growth over the last several years and has risen to be the largest independent agent in EMEA and ranked No. 9 Administrative Agent for 2023 in EMEA by Bloomberg, which is largely dominated by banks. By adding Kroll’s scale in the U.S. to our existing highly-efficient, solutions-driven services, we are excited to invest in the success of Martin and our U.S. team.”

“What drew me to Kroll was their reputation for offering world-class service,” stated Reed. “Kroll’s unique partnership model that focuses on speed of execution and exceptional client services throughout the deal lifecycle is much needed in the U.S. market. Working across multiple time zones, our UK and U.S. teams will continue to provide exceptional services to our existing clients, foster new relationships and enhance the global offering of Kroll.”

Kroll’s Agency and Trustee Services practice specializes in the administration of private credit, syndicated debt, restructurings and capital market transactions.
