Emmy Winner and Veteran Journalist Ashleigh Barry Named Senior Vice President of Communications at the National Association for Veteran Rights

With a distinguished career spanning over two decades in investigative journalism, strategic communications, and federal government service, Barry brings unparalleled expertise and a deep-rooted commitment to supporting our Nation’s Veterans.

Former Acting U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Secretary Peter O’Rourke, who currently serves as President of NAVR, hails her extensive experience as a strategic communicator within the VA. Barry served as a lead communications advisor to four Presidential VA Cabinet secretaries and held pivotal roles as a Senior Executive and as a Senior Strategic Communications Advisor.
