Retail Technology Leader Jumpmind Introduces Powerful New Functionality for Modern Information Management with Latest Release of SymmetricDS

The trusted database replication and file synchronization software is in use today by federal government agencies, leading retailers and consumer brands, such as Anheuser-Busch, the PGA Tour and T-Mobile

COLUMBUS, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jumpmind, Inc., a leading provider of innovative retail technology solutions, today announced new functionality and enhancements with the release of SymmetricDS 3.15, the database replication and file synchronization software powering today’s modern data-driven organizations.

SymmetricDS, known for its market-leading scalability and configurability, supports some of today’s most demanding and dynamic data environments, with data replication and synchronization across 70,000 databases and 15,000 locations and handling up to 20 million changes per hour. Clients include federal government agencies, leading retailers and consumer brands, such as Anheuser-Busch, the PGA Tour and T-Mobile.

Organizations rely on SymmetricDS for modern information management, to capture, replicate, and sync data across databases. Distinct from traditional ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools, SymmetricDS focuses on streaming only data changes rather than bulk data movement. As such, it is a more cost- and bandwidth-efficient solution to help organizations seamlessly replicate and synchronize data at scale and at speed. The solution offers extensibility and deployment flexibility, via its open-source model and API integration points.

New enhancements in the latest release include an AI optimization feature, which monitors system metrics, identifies outliers, and proposes setting changes to enhance performance without human intervention.

Also new is a suite of validation and repair tools, which ensures data integrity in the event of human error, and amidst the complexities of varied environments. Additionally, the new release features new compare and repair functionality, to mitigate issues of data loss during movement from one point to another.

“Data management is the bedrock of innovation and agility,” said Eric Long, Vice President of Customer Success for Jumpmind. “We’re proud that SymmetricDS is at the heart of today’s most advanced information management strategies, enabling organizations to unlock the full value of their data by uniting data across the enterprise while also meeting the most stringent security requirements. The new features and functionality in our latest release empower information management professionals with advanced data management capabilities crucial for continued digital transformation and business performance.”
