SoCal Cup Volleyball ‘Winter Formal’ to Take Over LA Convention Center for Nation’s Biggest Youth Volleyball Event

Tournament to Bring More than 600 Youth Volleyball Teams to Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The SoCal Cup, largely considered to be the nation’s largest premier tournament series for boy’s volleyball, kicks off next week with its Winter Formal competition at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Produced by AIM Sports Group, the three day, AAU-sanctioned event, taking place December 8-10, will draw more than 600 club teams across various age groups (12U through 18U) from all over the US and beyond, driven to compete for the cup.

The event is expecting to draw a crowd of about 80,000 across the three day event, made up of a diverse audience of athletes, families, and spectators.

WHEN: The SoCal Cup Winter Formal event will be open to the public December 8-10, 2023. First games start at 8:00 am pacific time on Friday, December 8th and the event will conclude at approximately 5:00 pm pacific time on Sunday, December 10th. Trophies will be awarded throughout the day on Sunday as the different division championships take place.
