Affinity Plus Foundation Awards $150,000 in Housing Stability Grants

Ten Minnesota Organizations Receive Grants to Address Homelessness and Barriers to Finding and Keeping Stable Housing

ST. PAUL, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Affinity Plus Foundation is proud to announce the recipients of its 2023 Housing Stability Grants. A total of $150,000 in grants have been awarded to ten organizations across Minnesota. Each organization will receive $15,000 to support their efforts to address homelessness and other barriers commonly experienced by people attempting to find and keep stable housing.

“We are committed to creating financial equity for everyone,” said Jessica Volkmann, Board Chair of the Affinity Plus Foundation. “These grants will help ensure that more Minnesotans have access to safe and affordable housing, which is a critical step towards achieving financial stability.”

The following organizations are receiving 2023 Housing Stability Grants:

  • CADA (Mankato, MN)
  • Family Rise Together (Duluth, MN)
  • Interfaith Action of Greater Saint Paul (Saint Paul, MN)
  • Life House (Duluth, MN)
  • My Neighbor to Love Coalition (Brainerd, MN)
  • New Pathways INC (Cambridge, MN)
  • The Landing (Rochester, MN)
  • Lakes & Prairies Community Action (Moorhead, MN)
  • Let’s Erase the Stigma (Winona, MN)
  • Neighborhood House (Saint Paul, MN)

These organizations provide a variety of housing-related services, including emergency shelter, rental assistance, and homeownership counseling. They are all dedicated to helping Minnesotans achieve housing stability and build a better future for themselves and their families.
