Halliburton Charitable Foundation Celebrates 30-Year Milestone

Annual golf tournament benefiting nonprofit organizations exceeds $30 million raised over 30-year history

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Halliburton Charitable Foundation today celebrated its 30th annual Halliburton Charity Golf Tournament (HCGT), which surpassed an important milestone of more than $30 million raised for more than 250 U.S. nonprofit organizations since its inception in 1993. What started as a modest tournament raising funds for a single charity has grown into one of the largest non-PGA golf tournament fundraisers.

This year’s tournament raised more than $3.8 million – the most the tournament has ever raised in a single year.

“It’s been a great privilege to support so many outstanding charities over the last 30 years. Their dedication and hard work make an invaluable difference in the communities where we work and live,” said Jeff Miller, Halliburton chairman, president, and CEO. “We are grateful to each of our generous sponsors whose contributions make the Halliburton Charity Golf tournament possible.”
