William Krenz Joins Cambia Health Solutions as Senior Vice President of Government Programs

PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cambia Health Solutions announces William Krenz as senior vice president of government programs. In this role, Krenz will set strategic direction, ensure operational and financial effectiveness, and drive sustainable growth for the company’s Medicare and Federal Employee Programs lines of business.

Krenz joins Cambia with more than 20 years of health care leadership experience, most recently serving as a senior vice president for Optum, where he launched the OptumCare Network in Washington and started national operations for OptumCare. Krenz has also served as the vice president of operations and production services for Blue Shield of California and executive vice president and chief administrative officer of Medicare Advantage operations for Universal American Corporation.

Krenz graduated from the College of Wooster with a bachelor’s degree in sociology and holds a Master of Health Administration from Xavier University. He has also held appointments in the graduate business schools of Johns Hopkins and University of California Irvine. He will officially join Cambia on Nov. 7 and be based in Seattle.
