From Broke Campaign Worker to $100/hour, This Young Entrepreneur Announces New Project to Help Others Do the Same

LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--A new mother, drowning in medical debt, living month-to-month on her bills, and having to knock on over 200 doors per day, Mariah Fox was feeling the stress of working constantly, only to continue feeling like she was struggling for financial security. After being laid-off shortly after election day, Fox had attempted to go into real estate, and failed. “That was my rock bottom,” says Fox. “I had no self-esteem anymore, I had no plans for myself, I couldn’t get a client and I was barely getting by on unemployment, and the one person I was worried about the most was my daughter.”

Fox had a spark in her that ignited entrepreneurship. She was inspired by YouTube influencer and self-made millionaire, Tatiana James. “My mindset about money completely began to change as I sought financial freedom,” says Fox.

Fox and her CPA mother, Suzanne Silver, ended up launching Silver Fox Accountancy in late 2022 while Fox was finishing her accounting degree. They had early success with getting clients and selling their ability to take on the most complex accounts. It wasn’t long before she was making $100/hour, which was 5 times her income as a campaign worker.

“I’m going to keep doubling and tripling my goals, investing my income, and launching more businesses, and I want to help others do what I did,” says Fox.

Fox has recently launched a membership program that will give users unlimited access to professionals specializing in accounting, taxes, business, and finance.

Once someone signs up for the membership, they will be able to schedule a meeting via Calendly and be matched with a professional that aligns with their needs.

“It’s hard for people to get the information they need and pay firm fees when really all they are needing is advice and guidance. I want that information more accessible to the public and that’s why I’m launching this program,” says Fox.
