Spearmint Energy Names Yelena Kuznetsova Director of Sustainability & ESG

Seasoned Asset Management and Marketing Professional to Oversee ESG Policies, Reporting, Compliance, and Project-Level Initiatives

MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Spearmint Energy (“Spearmint” or the “Company”) a next-generation renewable energy company enabling the clean energy revolution through battery energy storage, today announced that Yelena Kuznetsova, former Senior Vice President of Marketing & Communications at Capital Dynamics, has joined the Company as Director of Sustainability & ESG, effective immediately. In this new role, Ms. Kuznetsova will be responsible for overseeing Spearmint’s ESG policies and disclosures, developing and advancing corporate and project-level ESG initiatives, and ensuring the Company continues to maintain best-in-class compliance with federal and state-level ESG regulations.

Ms. Kuznetsova brings deep marketing, communications, and investor relations expertise across asset management, capital markets, and sustainable finance and investment to Spearmint. While at Capital Dynamics, she advanced a range of integrated marketing and global brand positioning campaigns with a focus on U.S. clean energy and private credit investment initiatives. At Spearmint, she will leverage her fifteen years of experience to develop environmental planning and battery recycling programs; work with procurement to evaluate suppliers’ codes of conduct, mineral sourcing, and labor policies; organize non-profit work and stakeholder partnerships; and track Spearmint’s progress toward carbon emissions and savings goals, among several other sustainability- and ESG-focused activities.

Prior to Capital Dynamics, a private assets firm specializing in private equity, private credit, and clean energy, Ms. Kuznetsova served in Vice President roles at Rockefeller Capital Management, TOBAM, and Société Générale’s Corporate & Investment Banking business in New York, London, and Paris. Ms. Kuznetsova earned a B.A. in Government from Cornell University and a Certificate in Sustainable Finance & Investment from the Yale School of Management. She is fluent in French and Russian.
