Registrations Underway for Future-Focused Utility and Technology Boot Camp at Upcoming Building Industry Show

IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Anticipation is mounting for the upcoming Building Industry Show––SoCal’s largest trade show for the building industry––according to The Building Industry Association of Southern California (BIASC). Registrations are already filling quickly for the popular Utility and Technology Boot Camp, a special Show segment that includes a discussion on the future of housing and new technologies with panelists from four of California’s largest utility and service providers: Cox, Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas), San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) and San Diego County Water Authority.

This year marks the centennial anniversary of the BIASC and the 85^th anniversary of the BIA of San Diego (BIA-SD). The Building Industry Show will kick off with an anniversary celebration aboard the USS Midway on October 25, while the trade show will take place on October 26 at the Marriott Marquis San Diego in San Diego, California. The show expects upwards of 2,000 attendees, including 65 builders and their operations and purchasing staff. The Show will feature the largest “Meet the Builder” experience in Southern California, including ample one-on-one opportunities for both members and builders. Attendees can expect an impressive agenda of events, including roundtable discussions with other guest speakers and elected officials on important topics ranging from housing to expediting entitlements.
