Amy Gilliland, president of General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) will keynote the November 2 Gala in a discussion moderated by Tim Hartman, CEO of GovExec. The keynote “Leading with Edge: Harnessing the Power of Innovation” will provide insights into the shifting geopolitical and technology landscape, why technological innovation is vital to our national security, and how companies can create a culture of innovation.” Amy leads GDIT, an $8.5 billion dollar global technology enterprise with 28,000 employees. She has 25+ years of public sector experience including service in the U.S. Navy and nearly two decades in leadership positions at General Dynamics. Amy’s incredible contributions within the industry have led her to receive various community engagement awards, most recently the March of Dimes Heroines of Washington, Corporate Heroine Award.
