Wealth.com Adds Brian Hamburger as Strategic Advisor to Elevate Estate Planning Solutions

Esteemed wealth management pioneer joins Wealth.com to help advance product innovation and increased utilization of estate planning solutions

PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Wealth.com, the industry’s leading estate planning platform, today announced Brian Hamburger, JD, CRCP, as a strategic advisor. Hamburger is the founder, president and chief executive officer of MarketCounsel, the leading business and regulatory compliance consulting firm to the country’s preeminent entrepreneurial independent investment advisers. With an unmatched expertise in the compliance and regulatory space, Hamburger’s insightful perspective on advisors’ needs, combined with the trust he has earned within the advisory community, stands to significantly advance the Wealth.com vision. This vision emphasizes equipping advisors to better serve their clients with best-in-class technology and human expertise.

With a unique understanding of the wealth management industry, Hamburger is also set to play an active role in educating advisors on the advantages of tech-enabled estate planning. As the “advisors’ advisor,” Hamburger has, over the past two decades, consistently championed solutions that address the challenges advisors face in a fast-growing and highly regulated industry.

“Our work leaves us well-positioned to understand the challenges advisors face in working with their clients and identify elegant solutions that help address them,” said Hamburger. “Estate planning has long been an area that offers great potential for advisors to provide incredible value but advisors have lacked an appropriate toolset to capitalize on that opportunity. I’ve been enamored by Wealth.com and its commitment to help advisors fill that void. As a strategic advisor to the company, I’m eager to articulate advisors’ needs and ensure that they remain at the forefront of Wealth.com’s growth priorities.”

In 2020, Investment Advisor Magazine honored Hamburger with a spot on The IA25, its annual list of the industry’s most influential figures. He was also named to the InvestmentNews’ class of Icons & Innovators in 2020, which recognizes visionaries who have shaped and transformed the financial advice profession. Now, as a leading consultant and advocate for independent advisors, Hamburger will focus on narrowing the knowledge gap between advisors and clients when it comes to estate planning.

Hamburger is admitted to the bars of New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and the District of Columbia, as well as the U.S. Supreme Court. He has worked with the Certified Financial Planner Board and various industry boards to shape industry standards. A member of the FINRA Dispute Resolution Board, Hamburger has also arbitrated for the New York Stock Exchange. He graduated from Quinnipiac College with a dual major in economics and financial management and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law.

“Brian Hamburger’s name is synonymous with confidence and steadfastness,” added Tim White, chief partnership officer at Wealth.com. “The input that Brian has brought to the industry over the last two decades has been consistently reliable and insightful. Our goal is to harness the trust he has cultivated, coupled with his legal acumen, to foster confidence in estate planning and transform the advisor experience.”

Last month, Wealth.com announced its inaugural strategic advisor, fellow luminary Tyrone Ross. Together, Ross and Hamburger join to advance Wealth.com’s mission of modernizing estate planning through innovative technology.
