AM Best Chief Rating Officer to Deliver Keynote at Insurity’s Excellence in Insurance Conference

OLDWICK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AM Best Chief Rating Officer Stefan Holzberger will be the featured keynote speaker at the Excellence in Insurance Conference, sponsored by Insurity, which will be held in San Diego, CA, from Oct. 4-6, 2023.

Holzberger’s fireside chat will include a discussion of AM Best’s criteria on insurer innovation and relevant updates, as well as the rating agency’s framework for assessing Delegated Underwriting Authority Enterprises such as managing general agents (MGAs) and other similar entities. Joining Holzberger in the discussion, titled, “Rating the Future: Decoding Innovation, the Regulatory Environment and other Industry Trends with AM Best,” will be Kirstin Marr, chief analytics officer at Insurity. The pair also will explore the current regulatory environment around advanced analytics, including machine learning and artificial intelligence. Holzberger is responsible for AM Best’s global ratings coverage and is a licensed certified public accountant. He also holds the chartered financial consultant designation. The presentation is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 6, at 8:30 a.m. PDT.
