Margaret Free Joins Modeshift as Chief Revenue Officer

Free brings 20+ years of expertise in strategic management, sales performance and customer relationships

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Modeshift, a leading contactless fare and data collection system provider, today announced that Margaret Free has joined the company as Chief Revenue Officer. With more than 20 years of experience across account management, sales performance, and relationship building, Free will drive strategic partnerships and revenue growth for Modeshift.

In her role at Modeshift, Free will oversee a multitude of growth areas throughout the company, including marketing, sales, finance, and operations. Additionally, Free will foster Modeshift’s partner and channel strategies and collaborate with the company’s C-suite on new technology offerings to ensure a superior customer experience.

Previously at Scheidt & Bachmann USA, Inc., a provider of ticketing systems for transport operators, Free served as regional vice president leading sales and account management strategies for nearly a decade. In 2020, Free was named the Key Account Manager of the year by The Association for Key Account Management. This recognition highlighted Free’s in-depth understanding of customer service and relationships and invaluable contribution to strategic objectives of the company, among other accomplishments.
