FORT WORTH, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Palm Primary Care Texas (“Palm Texas”), an independent primary care group managed by Florida-based Palm Medical Centers (“Palm”), has named Dr. Stuart Pickell as the new Medical Director for the group’s clinic in the Fort Worth Medical District. Dr. Pickell will transition into this role on September 30th, where he will lead day-to-day operations for the primary care center, focusing on achieving high quality outcomes for patients and developing innovative clinical programs, along with the clinic’s two other primary care providers, Dr Morvarid Rezaie and Mari Finley ANP-PC.

Dr. Pickell has provided Fort Worth citizens with high-quality care with a personal touch for over 20 years. A graduate of UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, he is board-certified in internal medicine and pediatrics. Prior to medical school, he graduated from the Princeton Theological Seminary and served as an Associate Pastor at First Presbyterian Church in Fort Worth. He currently serves as the President of the Tarrant County Medical Society and as an Associate Professor of Internal Medicine and the Ethics Theme Lead at TCU's Burnett School of Medicine.
