Regions Bank Announces Sabal Capital Partners has Officially Transitioned to the Regions Real Estate Capital Markets Brand

Group’s combined offerings include expanded range of multifamily and commercial real estate loan programs to meet diverse borrower needs

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Regions Bank on Wednesday announced Sabal Capital Partners is now officially part of the Regions Real Estate Capital Markets brand. The brand change reflects Sabal Capital Partners’ further integration into the existing Regions Real Estate Capital Markets team.

Regions Real Estate Capital Markets delivers customized financing solutions for a broad array of real estate clients, leveraging its technology-driven origination and servicing platforms. Clients include brokers and borrowers in the diversified multifamily and commercial real estate space with single assets and property portfolios that are supported through Regions Real Estate Capital Markets’ comprehensive suite of both agency and non-agency finance solutions.

“Sabal Capital Partners has been an integral part of the Regions Real Estate Capital Markets team since Regions acquired Sabal’s lending business and expanded its range of specialty capabilities through the combined experience of the teams,” said Troy Marek, head of Real Estate Capital Markets for Regions Bank. “The brand change for Sabal Capital Partners reflects the continued integration of Sabal’s lending business into the Regions business and family of offerings. We have seen well over a year of successfully building new and deeper client relationships; by fully integrating Sabal Capital Partners into our Real Estate Capital Markets team, Regions is poised to build even greater success moving forward.”

Regions Real Estate Capital Markets offers a robust suite of lending products to meet a wide range of borrower needs. Specialty solutions include acquisition, refinance, bridge, and construction financing, with programs spanning agency, non-agency and conduit options. The group’s loan products serve borrowers and properties nationwide across all major multifamily and commercial real estate asset types.

Regions’ Real Estate Capital Markets lending operations are supported by SNAP®, the company’s innovative technology platform that automates and drives efficiencies across the life-of-loan process, from loan origination through servicing. SNAP leverages tools including real-time commercial property financing scenarios, seamless online loan applications, and technology for tracking loan progress through deal closure, while supporting servicing and customer relations.

“Regions’ acquisition of Sabal Capital Partners has been deeply beneficial as we leverage the unique skills and experience of dedicated teams to connect clients with a broader range of solutions,” Marek concluded. “The teamwork-based culture of both organizations has supported a smooth integration, while also enabling Regions to connect Sabal Capital Partners clients with additional services and solutions powered by teams throughout our bank. With a focus on client experience, innovation and collaboration, we look forward to further growth for the Regions Real Estate Capital Markets team.”
