PSUDO Sneakers Launches A New Category with PSUDO blu

The rapidly expanding sustainable startup announces a new even more eco-friendly sneaker style featuring up to 85% recycled content

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sustainable, slip-on sneaker brand PSUDO is excited to announce the launch of its newest style, PSUDO blu, today. For its new category, the brand has partnered with Blumaka, a manufacturer of the most sustainable foam on the market, allowing brands to develop foam parts that have up to 85% recycled content.

PSUDO blu sneakers will be produced near-shore at the Blumaka solar-powered factory in El Salvador, and even though these styles are the first PSUDO products to be made outside of the US, it will contain more recycled content than the current sneaker. The addition of the new PSUDO blu style puts the brand one step closer to its goal of contributing to and creating a circular economy.

“Sustainability, comfort and local manufacturing are PSUDO’s core pillars. The eco-friendly aspect of the business is very important to who we are and what we do, and the Blumaka technology wasn’t available in the US. We wanted to provide a more eco-friendly product as new technology arises, and we wanted to jump on the Blumaka partnership, as it’s equally as important as the made in USA styles,” says Michael Rich, PSUDO co-founder.

PSUDO blu styles will feature a more low profile sole and are priced at $94.

In addition to selling on psudo.com, PSUDO blu is also being distributed into independent stores & boutiques, department stores, and specialty retailers.
