Haig Partners Served as the Exclusive Sell-Side Advisor on the Sale of BMW of Bridgeport – Representing the 40th Dealership Sold in the Northeast Since 2020

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Haig Partners LLC served as the exclusive sell-side advisor on the sale of BMW of Bridgeport, located in Connecticut, to Mauro Motors.

Mitch McManus, Dealer Principal at BMW of Bridgeport, shared, “We have been a proud BMW dealer in Connecticut for over twenty years and will really miss our great team of associates at BMW of Bridgeport. Market conditions are exceptionally good right now and we felt it was time for the next phase of our lives to begin. They are in very good hands with Jake Mauro and the rest of the Mauro Motors team. I wish them the best of luck.”

In addition to the sale of BMW of Bridgeport, Haig Partners previously represented the seller in the sale of their BMW of Ridgefield dealership.

Jake Mauro, President of Mauro Motors, added, “At Mauro Motors, our desire and passion to grow our company is stronger than ever. In our 30th year, we are excited to enter a new chapter in our company’s history by welcoming BMW of Bridgeport into our family of dealerships. Mitch McManus and Ed McGill cultivated a culture of winning and excellence at this dealership, while also developing an amazing group of dedicated employees that we couldn’t be more excited to work with. Both Mitch and Ed were an absolute pleasure to work with on this deal, making the transaction on both sides extremely enjoyable and smooth, from start to finish. I also credit Haig Partners for helping make this transaction seamless and I look forward to working with them on future opportunities.”

Mike Toth, Managing Director, Haig Partners, shared, “Haig Partners was thrilled to be part of this transaction. Mitch and Ed are fantastic operators and true gentlemen who built a high-performing team that puts the customer first. We wish them, Jake Mauro, and the Mauro Motors team the best of luck. Almost every dealer wants to buy stores in Florida or Texas, but those opportunities are in rare supply, especially for luxury brands. Dealership values in the Northeast continue to be strong, making it an attractive market for dealers looking to grow. It is one of the most densely populated areas of the country with a large number of stores, which has buyers being more aggressive in the region.”

This transaction represents the 40th dealership the team at Haig Partners has represented in the Northeast since 2020.

Regina Flaherty of Verrill Dana LLP provided legal representation for BMW of Bridgeport. Stephen Dietrich of Holland and Knight provided legal representation for Mauro Motors.
