CUPE Ontario Leaders Joining Bradford West Gwillimbury Library Picket Lines Sunday

BRADFORD, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The leaders of Ontario’s largest union and its largest labour body will join striking library workers outside the Bradford West Gwillimbury Public Library on Sunday, July 23, at 10:00 a.m.

In 2021, library workers voted almost unanimously to join the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE). They are on strike in an effort to bring their employer back to the bargaining table with a fair first collective agreement that recognizes the economic workplace changes the workers face.
