Cambium Learning Group Releases 2022 Impact Report Highlighting Outcomes for Students, Educators, Employees and Communities

Now serving 95% of U.S. school districts, the report demonstrates Cambium's commitment to helping teachers and students feel seen, valued and supported

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cambium Learning Group, a leading provider of award-winning education technology and services for K-12 markets, today released its inaugural 2022 Impact Report. The purpose of this report is to recognize and celebrate the significant momentum of the Cambium community in the K-12 education ecosystem, while also identifying needs and charting a clear course forward for deepening and widening support for educators, students, families and employees.

Challenges in K-12 education continue to compound. According to the most recent National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) results, less than 25% of 4th and 8th graders in poverty perform at grade level1 and only 37% of 12th-grade students are reading at or above proficiency1. Also of concern are results from the Merrimack College Teacher Survey, which reports that nearly 50% of teachers say they may quit within two years2. These statistics underscore the importance and urgency of delivering solutions that make the greatest difference on the most critical challenges for the education community.   • 29M+ students served across 170+ countries, including 13.6M U.S. students that are Black, Indigenous, and/or people of color (BIPOC)
  • 37% of K-12 teachers served in the U.S. across 95% of U.S. districts
  • >40% of all K-12 students in the U.S. served by Cambium Assessment

The report also details how Cambium is scaling its team. According to 2022 data:

  • 61% of Cambium employees are women
  • 31% of Cambium employees are BIPOC
  • >90% of Cambium employees work remotely as part of Cambium’s intentional Remote First program
