Dorsey New York Partner Eric Rytter Named Policy Committee Chair

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--E. Eric Rytter, Dorsey Partner and Global Private Equity Practice Group Head, was elected Chair of Dorsey’s Policy Committee, which serves as the Firm’s governing board and sets its strategic objectives. Mr. Rytter joined Dorsey’s Policy Committee in 2019 and resides in the firm’s New York office.

Over the last 18 months, Dorsey has opened new offices in Phoenix and Boise, while also growing its presence in Seattle with a team of Construction Law and Government Contracts attorneys. “Our Firm management has done an excellent job expanding in vibrant and growing markets as a strategic extension of our geographic coverage,” said Mr. Rytter. “One of my priorities will be a focus on continued strategic growth that allows us to expand the services we provide to our clients.”

Mr. Rytter is well-regarded internationally for his business acumen in advising clients in matters ranging from M&A strategy and execution, to financings and corporate operational matters. Mr. Rytter has extensive experience representing private equity sponsors in the U.S. as well as sponsors based in the U.K. and Europe, in particular with respect to their portfolio investments in the U.S. Mr. Rytter holds law degrees from Columbia Law School and Cambridge University, where he served on the Board of the Faculty of Law.
