Arduino to Unveil Its Latest Educational Solutions at ISTELive 23 in Philadelphia on June 25-28

Expo booth to give teachers their first look at the new Cloud for Schools, Greenhouse Kit, Explore IoT Rev2 and Junior Certification, plus a preview of Science Kit R3

AUSTIN, Texas & CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Arduino, the open-source hardware pioneer with 32 million active developers worldwide, today announced its plans for ISTELive 23, one of the world’s more comprehensive ed tech events.

The conference takes place from June 25-28 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. At Expo Booth #318, leaders from Arduino’s Education business unit and its U.S. distributor, Pitsco Education, will showcase the company’s latest products, including:

  • Cloud for Schools: A revolutionary cloud-based platform that combines coding, the Internet of Things, STEAM education and courses in one.
  • Greenhouse Kit: Students develop their own unique solutions to urban farming challenges and get an in-depth understanding of real-world issues to build a sustainable future. The kit includes all the hardware needed to control the greenhouse, a getting-started guide, and lesson plans for middle and high school. The Greenhouse Kit is co-designed with Campustore and will be listed soon with Pitsco Education for the U.S. market.
  • Explore IoT Rev2: This kit allows advanced high school and college students to create their own connected devices quickly and easily by harnessing the power of the Arduino IoT Cloud to gather data, understand how devices communicate with each other, and which tools to use to facilitate communication.
  • Junior Certification: An online exam that makes it easy for educators to assess their students’ basic or intermediate knowledge or certify their own knowledge of programming, electronics and Arduino with official online exams.

Arduino also will give attendees a pre-release look at Science Kit R3, set to hit the market in November. Developed in collaboration with physics teachers, the new kit encourages students to think and act like scientists by bringing an inquiry-based, hands-on approach to physics into the classroom.

The mission of Arduino Education is to transform education and empower the next generation of creators, innovators and problem-solvers. Every student has the potential to shape the future, and the company is committed to unlocking that unique genius through the power of Arduino.
