Excella Secures Call Order in Support of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission Office of Enforcement

Excella to support cloud modernization and related change management activity for OE data analytics services

ARLINGTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Excella, a pioneer in Agile data solutions, today announced that the company has been awarded a third call order under the 10-year Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) Data Support Services (DSS) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). Under this call order, Excella will help the Commission’s Office of Enforcement (OE) modernize existing data analytics products and build new enhancements for FERC’s cloud analytics platform.

Excella’s work with FERC is focused on strengthening the agency’s ability to efficiently and effectively use internal and external data assets to regulate energy markets and promote the development of safe, reliable, affordable, and efficient energy infrastructure. This latest call order will enable OE to utilize FERC’s cloud analytics platform to fulfill its mission to perform surveillance and analysis of data relating to FERC-jurisdictional markets.

Excella will support the engineering and modernization of these critical data sets and products by applying key Agile principles and practices and utilize organizational change management to help FERC users migrate their analytics solutions to cloud native technologies.

“We are excited to extend our partnership with FERC to support additional modernization of its data capabilities at the Office of Enforcement,” said Jimmy Benani, Vice President of Excella’s Federal Health and Civilian market. “Our team is laser focused on helping OE successfully and strategically use their data to fulfill their mission of protecting the consumers by conducting oversight and surveillance of the complex energy market.”

Excella will leverage its domain experience with FERC and analytics expertise to help OE transform how they work with energy market data.
