3STEP Sports Acquires US Officials, adding New Function to Robust Ecosystem to Directly Enhance Game-Day Experience

ANDOVER, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--3STEP Sports, the nation’s largest and most impactful youth sports club and event operator, has acquired US Officials, adding a new and integral resource to its expanding soccer division.

Founded in 2008 by Paul Athanasiadis and Levon Akoghlanian, US Officials is the central hub for soccer event operators, assigners and officials. What started as a simple website designed to offer a low-cost platform to assign referees to games has turned into a thriving network of 6,000+ officials with multiple local and national events on any given weekend.

US Officials currently partners with more than 50 soccer event operators, serving the majority of New England’s youth and adult soccer leagues. US Officials also offer Referee Mentoring and Professional Development opportunities to help enhance the game day experience for referees, clubs, teams, players and families. This combination of offerings makes US Officials the provider of choice for league assigners and officials along the East Coast and event providers on the National stage.
