Wind River Named to Newsweek’s List of the Top 100 Global Most Loved Workplaces for 2023

ALAMEDA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Wind River®, a global leader in delivering software for mission-critical intelligent systems, today announced it was named to Newsweek’s Top 100 Global Most Loved Workplaces® list, ranking #13 overall. Backed by Best Practice Institute (BPI) research and analysis, Most Loved Workplaces® recognizes companies where people are happiest and most satisfied at work based on the level of respect, collaboration, support, and sense of belonging they feel inside the company.

The results were determined after surveying more than two million employees from businesses with workforces varying in size from 30 to more than 10,000. The list recognizes companies that put respect, caring, and appreciation for their employees at the center of their business model and, in doing so, have earned the loyalty and respect of the people who work for them.

“We are thrilled to be named to Newsweek’s prestigious Most Loved Workplaces list, as it showcases the lived experience of Wind River’s cultural attributes of growth mindset; customer focus; and diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging,” said Wind River interim CEO Bryan LeBlanc. “In addition to making Wind River a great place to work, our collaborative workforce fosters the agility and innovation required to help our customers address both the challenges and opportunities of the fast-changing, digital-first economy.”

Wind River Chief People Officer Anuradha Mayer added, "It is impressive how Most Loved Workplaces®️ takes one of the most comprehensive looks at workplace sentiment for organizations today. We are beyond proud to be on the global top 100 list. Wind River’s commitment to diversity, inclusion, equity, and belonging is more than just words – it’s a priority and strategic imperative. We don’t just value differences; we seek them out and invite them in.”

“While workplace dynamics continue to evolve, the power of a positive culture remains constant,” says Nancy Cooper, Global Editor in Chief of Newsweek. “The companies featured on the 2023 Global Most Loved Workplaces® list embody this transformative spirit, proving that when companies prioritize their people, success naturally follows.”

“Since our initial publication of the Most Loved Workplaces® List in 2021, the workplace landscape has undergone a significant transformation, including shifts like Return to Office, Hybrid Work, The Great Resignation, Quiet Quitting, and Layoffs, among others,” says Most Loved Workplace® Founder and CEO Louis Carter. “Throughout these changes, the crucial element consistently tied to the success of a Most Loved Workplace® culture, which attracts and motivates exceptional talent, is cultivating positive and more meaningful connections between companies and employees. This year’s featured companies on the Most Loved Workplace® list exemplify this principle, even globally.”
