AM Best to Participate at the International Association of Insurance Supervisors’ Global Seminar

OLDWICK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AM Best Chief Rating Officer Stefan Holzberger will participate in a panel discussion at the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS) Global Seminar, which will take place June 15-16, 2023, in Seattle.

The 75-minuute session, titled, “Scanning the Horizon – IAIS priorities for 2025 and Beyond,” will be split into a pair of panel discussions, and will consider future risks to the insurance industry and how supervisors and regulators should prepare for these risks. Holzberger’s portion of the panel discussion will explore standard-setting practices and how to assess and respond to market developments. Andrew N. Mais, Connecticut’s insurance commissioner, will moderate the panel. Joining Holzberger will be Jad Ariss, managing director, Geneva Association; Susan Neely, president, Global Federation of Insurance Associations; and Clement Cheung, chair, IAIS Audit and Risk Committee and CEO of Hong Kong’s Insurance Authority. Takeaways from these discussions will be considered as the IAIS identifies high-level goals and issues that could be covered in the organization’s 2025-2029 strategic plan. The session is scheduled for June 16 at 10 a.m. (PDT).
