AM Best to Join Panel Discussion at Casualty Actuarial Society Seminar on Reinsurance

OLDWICK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AM Best Senior Director Carlos Wong-Fupuy will participate in a panel discussion at the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) Seminar on Reinsurance, which will be held at the Westin Philadelphia in Philadelphia, PA, from June 5-6, 2023. Wong-Fupuy will participate in a session, titled, “Property/Casualty Industry Outlook - An Analyst View,” which is scheduled for 1:45 p.m. (EDT) on Tuesday, June 6.

The panel will discuss and analyze the drivers of recent industry results and the future trends that will shape the property/casualty industry, including shrinking reinsurance capacity, hard-market pricing and heightened catastrophe activity. Wong-Fupuy oversees a team of AM Best analysts responsible for the financial ratings of global reinsurance organizations covering the United States, Bermuda and European markets and is actively involved in AM Best’s rating process for the world’s largest reinsurers. He will be joined on the panel by Managing Director Matt Carletti, JMP Securities; Senior Director John Iten, Financial Services Ratings, S&P Global; and William Wilt, president, Assured Research, who will be moderating.
