Skyward Financial Introduces Jerry Axelrod as a New Independent Financial Consultant

Based at the firm’s Houston office, Jerry brings over 43 years of industry experience, and will work closely with Managing Partners Lynn Houston and Matthew Houston.

Jerry received his Bachelor of Arts in Social Relations from Harvard College, graduating cum laude. After graduation, Jerry returned home to assist with his family’s office furniture business, before being drawn to the financial services industry. He joined Drexel Burnham, serving as Vice President for 10 years, during which Jerry was notably recognized for his excellence in the finance industry and awarded Outstanding Broker by Registered Representative Magazine in 1984. Following this, Jerry spent time as Senior Vice President for Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette as well as for Morgan Stanley/Smith Barney before joining Burnham Securities in 2010. Immediately before joining Skyward Financial, Jerry served as Managing Director at Stark Capital Management for over 12 years and acted as a critical force for their overall growth and success.
