Priority OnDemand Announces Release of Inaugural ESG Report

KNOXVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Priority OnDemand (“the Company”), a national leader in medical transportation and mobile health solutions, announced today the release of its inaugural Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) Report, highlighting its initiatives and best practices to drive sustainable, equitable and governance best practices.

“We are very proud to share our 2023 ESG report and to highlight the progress we have made in our key ESG focus areas to our employees, customers and communities we serve,” said Chief Executive Officer Bryan Gibson. “The publication of this report is an important step forward, as we strive to empower our people, manage our environmental impact, maintain the highest levels of integrity and give back to our communities. Each of these elements is essential to our sustainability program.”

Since the founding of Priority Ambulance in 2013 and the Company’s subsequent growth to Priority OnDemand and a family of companies operating in 14 states across the nation, the Company has been steadfastly focused on meeting the needs of its employees, communities, customers and patients. The business has evolved and matured in that time, and this year, the Company made a commitment to a comprehensive Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) program benchmarked to the tenants of the Sustainability Account Standards Board (SASB). Disclosures within the SASB framework were prepared with the goal of developing future qualitative and quantitative reporting that will also align with industry best practices.

Highlights from the report include:

  • Our first formal materiality assessment to ensure the Company’s ESG strategy incorporated input from key stakeholders.
  • Established an ESG Working Group, which is responsible for leading our ESG strategy and monitoring corporate social responsibility and environmental sustainability initiatives. This group includes cross-functional subject matter experts from across the Company.
  • Investment in resources to further our environmental efforts to create collaborative, innovative, low-emission and energy-efficient working environments.

“While our Company is a leading provider of premier medical transportation and mobile health solutions, we believe we must continue to invest in and leverage our unique value-enhancing differentiators, including ESG, to create a more sustainable long-term enterprise,” said Gibson. “We must never lose sight of our dedication to clinical excellence and our partnership approach with customers that builds superior, long-lasting relationships. This focus serves us well and allows us to invest in our people and the communities we serve.”
